Black Pearls in Savannah, GA

Black Pearls Enjoy Savannah, GA.

A Dream Trip

Hats off to the Black Pearls' Youth Director, Ms. Sandra Gibson and her team of advisors for planning a trip to Historic Savannah, Ga for the Black Pearls.

The Pearls are pictured above with their Advisors at the First African Baptist Church.  This church played a significant role in the fight against slavery.  Many slaves hid in the crawl space of the church until they could plan their escape to freedom.

Here pictured at the right, the Pearls enjoy Tibree Island in late July.  It was a delightful time as the waves roared in and the sea breeze tenderly touched their faces as they strolled barefoot along the seashore.
No trip  to Savannah is complete, unless you have a tasty  deep south southern meal.  Their smiles say  it all!
