Black Pearls Pay Tribute to Legendary Women

Black History Performance

Renditions of NCNW History ~  The St. Petersburg Metropolitan Section of the  Black Pearls participated in a thought provoking performance of the matriachs  of the National Council of Negro Women, Incorporated.  The young ladies were invited to perform for the residents in the beatifully landscaped Westminster Suncoast Senior Lifestyle Campus.  The performances were held in the Quak Theatre which is equipped with the latest theatrical equipment.

The Pearls under the direction of their director, Ms. Sandra Gibson performed for an audience of over 50 people with readings, poetry and dance.  Along with the performances, a Civil Rights documentary was aired and our own SPMS President Thelma Bruce provided the closing remarks.

It was a Really Great Show!  The Black Pearls Advisors and NCNW members attended
