This year, we are honored to welcome Rev. Shavon Arline-Bradley, the honored president and chief executive officer for the National Council of Negro Women. She brings a wealth of knowledge in healthcare, government affairs and executive leadership. Rev. Arline-Bradley will be speaking on our theme, “The Power of Unity, Advancing Dr. King’s Vision In A Changing World” a message that aligns perfectly with Dr. King's enduring legacy and our collective commitment to build bridges across differences amplify shared humanity, and continue the pursuit of racial, economic, and social justice together.

Scholarship Applications are now available

The St. Petersburg Metropolitan Section, National Council of Negro Women, Inc. is proud to announce that the organization will award the NCNW Educational Incentive and Ralph W. Young Family Foundation scholarships for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic school year. The application deadline is Friday, December 5, 2025.

We will recognize recipients at the 40th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Awards Breakfast, held at the St. Petersburg Coliseum on Monday, January 19, 2026.

There are two scholarship opportunities available and applicants can only apply for ONE. Carefully review the requirements for each scholarship opportunity. The amount of each scholarship is dependent upon available funds.
