Greetings and welcome beloved sisters and my phenomenal community. I am Ethel Peeples Robinson, President of the St. Petersburg Metropolitan Section of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. an organization that I am proud to be a Legacy Life member.
Even though we are now operating under different methods and circumstances NCNW goals and vision remain the same. We are women of African American descent that promises to “Lead and support their families and communities, with this mission we will not allow Covid-19 stop us from fulfilling our promises and commitments to our community.”
Therefore, we need the work and dedication that many of you can provide to others through NCNW. You too can become a part of this giving and committed organization. In NCNW there is a place for women, men, and our precious youth. There’s an old African proverb expresses this so clearly it says “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Our SPMS of NCNW want to go far because the farther we go the more we can touch the lives and needs of others.
With the new fiscal year and new circumstances, we will to the best of our ability:
Our meetings are held the third Saturday of the month and 9:30 a.m. and we would love for you to join us at the Fannye Ayer Ponder House 1835-9 th Avenue South. You are who we need!
