Message from Jessica Siegel, Mobile Mammography
I wanted to provide a recap of Saturday's screening event with The National Council of Negro Women. Together we screened 34 ladies! This is AMAZING!
I also wanted to let you know that there was one woman found with a critical finding. We have reached out to the patient to notify her of the test results. Her physician will coordinate any additional follow up care as needed. We would not have found this critical finding without you providing this life saving service.
We thank you for your partnership and for helping to spread awareness about the importance of early detection in the fight against breast cancer. Your support plays a vital role in making preventive care more accessible, and it's partners like you who truly help save lives through early diagnosis
All of the ladies screened at the event will be due for the annual screenings again next October. I know that is a ways away, but please let me know if you would like to reserve a mobile unit to return again in October of 2026.
The National Council of Negro Women, St. Petersburg Metropolitan Section, Inc. was excited to host the "3D Mobile Mammography Screening" at our Council House— thanks to our listed partners and community for getting the word out on short notice.
